My approach to designing Fourspath was guided by clarity, calm, and control. I didn’t want users to feel like they were being judged by numbers I wanted them to feel empowered by awareness. I started with real user stories not just data. I wanted to understand how money makes people feel, not just how they spend it. Most users felt guilt, confusion, or fear around finances. That informed every tone, layout, and interaction. Instead of throwing dashboards and graphs in their face, I focused on one-task-at-a-time flows.
Example: Adding an expense shouldn’t feel like doing math homework. I made it a one-tap experience quick, calming, and aesthetic.
